Funny moments

 This is Ella playing with lots of little pom poms in our stair well. There was lots of giggles and then a big mess in the end. Hahaa Gotta love how this girl comes up with entertaining things to do!

Ella reading a story to Ben in their room. She was trying to put him to bed for the night. She dislikes the fact that Ben (because he takes a daytime nap) gets to go to bed after her. We hear about the un-justice of it each night. I keep reminder her that soon enough Ben will no longer nap, and then he will always get to go down first at night. 

The kids playing outside in the mud. Ha! I left them out there for a little bit while preparing dinner, then came back to discover the "leaf gardens" they had so carefully cultivated. I do admit that I love letting them play in the mud... as long as it's not too messy. Every kid needs to enjoy getting dirty sometimes, right?! 

 And more play-dough time! Such a great winter activity! Ben likes to pretend that he makes apple pies. He is mastering the basics of rolling out his dough and also now can make "snakes." So much fun to watch their development and how they learn new things and sharpen fine motor skills. As you can see, Ella made a nice zoo and a snowman.
