A few days ago we had a windy day..... and a windy day means time for a kite, right?! So Ella made a little kite out of yellow construction paper and took it for a fly! We are LOVING this big, fenced-in backyard!
Time for some apple pie!
After a search that lasted months I finally found some cute Thomas the Train fleece last night to make a new blanket for Ben. He is loving it already! His little blue blanket (pictured below) has been loved for over a year, but he really needed something bigger. How fun for this boy who eats, breathes, and now sleeps trains!
Ella still loves her blankie... she's been attached to it since she was a year old. This is a twin blanket of the one her daddy had as a child. A blanket a few decades old... Very special indeed!
This afternoon we had a little picnic outside on the deck. Ella was pretending they were in a rocket ship, so while nibbling their apples, I hear, "blast off!" repeatedly through the screen door. Meanwhile, Ben is like, yah, ok sis.... whatever you say. He's a go with the flow little guy.
