Tallahassee, FL

Our Livingroom area with sliding door to balcony.

The view just outside our balcony. I saw a squirrel run down the tree in the center just a bit ago!

Ooops! This is our kitchen. But you'll have to turn your head as the pix is sideways. I'm still new to blogging and don't quite know how to flip it yet.... :-)

This is the other half of the livingroom/dining area.

Cute apple wallpaper in the kitchen! I LOVE it!

Our spacious bedroom!

Oh... this is a flat, open space somewhere in Texas. It was lots of fun to see the changing landscapes as we drove from Utah all the way to Tallahassee. Too bad the batteries in the camera died on Wednesday! You'll just have to imagine what Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama looked like! We passed alot of swamplands on brides and such. I was just grateful to have a car between me and all the gators & crocs that were likely down there. Yikes!

Oh dear! Flat tire on our moving truck! Thank goodness it didn't happen until after we'd parked for the night at Grandma's in Monticello! And thank goodness dad went to inspect the truck after dinner and found the flat before morning! THANKS Dad! Brent & Dad got it taken care of at 6:30am the next morning (Tuesday) and we were on the road again at 8am, just as planned.

Our Penske being loaded on Monday. Ops, somehow I uploaded all these pix backwards, with the oldest pix being here at the bottom of my post!

My cute nephew, Peter Thomas, sitting on Grandma's lap on moving day, this past Monday. I'm going to miss him lots, as well as all of our loved ones!
--------------Our Scoop------------

After a week of driving, we finally reached our destination... Tallahassee, FL on a Friday afternoon in a rain-storm! Brent & I are excited to be here! Here are some pix from the move & our new apartment. So far, I don't mind the humidity and there are beautiful trees all around our apartment complex that house lots of birds and even some squirrels! Baby Ella (due Nov. 30th) seems to sense all the excitement and has been kicking around inside of me a bit more than normal the past few days. What a silly girl! We attended church today and everyone was very friendly and kind. We dropped Dad off at the nearby airport yesterday morning, and unpacked boxes. Brent starts school in less than 2 weeks and we have yet to see any snakes!

The apartment looks beautiful and very spacious. I'm so glad you guys had a good trip with only a few minor mishaps. And I'm glad you haven't seen any snakes yet. How about lizards? I remember seeing lots of those in Florida. We sure love you and know you will do well there!
