Tonight after FHE, Ella and Mommy made these fish out of foam... what fun! And then we used some butcher paper to make a "sea" for them to swim in and taped it up to the fridge. :-D
Today my amazing sisters, Amy and Laurie Ann, came over! I love being close to family and spending time and letting the kids play and have fun together! Amy is a great artist and drew characters from Toy Story on our new chalk board/ easel (a recent yard sale find mommy got for $7... YAHOO!)
Ella plays outside in the water with cousins Peter and Luke, plus 2 neighbor kids, Seth and Camille. Yes, we had to change them into dry clothes when they were done.
Last Wednesday my dad had his 60th Birthday! He climbed Mt. Timp to the very top! We are all so proud of him for making it! Then, on Sunday evening we gathered to enjoy fun time together. Amy put together a fun treasure hunt, at the end of which dad found his treasure.... bags of chips! What more could he ask for?!
Here's Ella and Mom last Friday on our family date night to Bridal Vale Falls up Provo Canyon. I LOVED being in the canyon again! Ella had so much fun playing in the water!
Ella has an adventurous spirit, like her Grandpa Gordon (Davis). She wanted to climb up as far as mom would let her ... to get to where the water gushed down from the falls! I think she would have kept climbing if I'd have let her.
Ben enjoyed the water too!
