Ben is Growing up

Ben today - 7 months old

My Ben-boy is growing up! He is 7 months old today! Tonight I got a few free moments to look back at my journal entries when he was a newborn... how the time flies! I love the happiness he has brought into our home! Wish he would sleep a little better, but oh well! (He averages 13 hours of sleep 'round the clock.) He loves to say, "dadada dada" over and over. Ben weighed 20 lbs. and 15 oz. at his Dr. appointment two days ago! He likes to pull Ella's hair when given the chance and grins whenever she enters the room. In the past week he finally had his two bottom teeth break through the gums (after months of off and on teething).

Ben loves to eat rice rusks and he gets so excited when we pull the sippy cup out that he wiggles in his highchair, kicking his feet and waiving his hands around. Mommy is so grateful that he is doing better at not needed to be nursed as often and sometimes even goes 3-4 hours between feedings - much better than Ella was doing at this point - thankfully!
