Ben loves this play-mat! Thanks Laur for lending it! He now pulls the fish off the arch! LOL
Meet Duck, he is as much a member of the family as any of the rest of us. He joins Ella in all her adventures - Nursery on Sunday, library trips, etc.
And this is Ben's toy - "Bunny" we call him. He is the up and coming contender as Ella's favorite. However, since he really belongs to Ben (thanks Aunt Amy!) mommy won't let Ella take him everywhere that Duck gets to go. Bunny gets diaper changes from Ella while mom takes care of Ben and today Bunny got two consecutive band-aids from Ella and Dr. Thomas (the train) for his owies.
This play-dough creation is Helen the Hippo... from the Spot books (you know, the cute Puppy named Spot)

Ella and her blanky - it's a twin to the blanket her Daddy had when he was a boy. She sure loves blanky and sleeps covered up in it each night.

Uh, Duck again.... can't figure out how to delete this pix without making this blog post go crazy, so I'll just leave him in for this second appearance. Heehe

Ella has been potty training! Yesterday she earned up enough stickers on her potty chart to receive her reward - Edward (a train). Thank goodness she wasn't too disappointed as I had been telling her she would get Emily (a little more girly to have a girl train, right?) but the store was out of Emily.

Ben poses in a new outfit - he is such a chunky 5 month old! Yes, he eats all the time, so it seems to Mommy. Usually every two hours through the night and usually more often during the day. Ok, at least I don't have to worry about him starving anytime soon. Ahh, the things I do to keep my munchkins happy!

Getting ready for church today! Ella puts on her shoes by herself these days. She's growing up so fast!

Ben tonight - he has been starting to sit up by himself this week. Seems like he was just born! Time is flying!

Ella loves to make Ben happy! She is a really great helper for a busy mommy! Most of the time she is pretty gentle with him. She loves to "baby-talk" to him while he is in the bouncy-seat. She hugs his knees and says things like, "it's ok son" and "Bennnnn!"

Ella doing what she does best - goofing around!

Uh, I made these mini cheese-cakes for Brent for Valentines! Thanks Aimee for inviting me over and for all the fun! Ella enjoyed playing with puppy Winston and wore herself out because as you can see below, she fell asleep in the car on the way home and I set her down just inside the door and she stayed asleep. Haaha

We are introducing solids to Ben. Rice cereal, peas and sweet potatoes so far. He does pretty well the first few bites, then he gets more interested in what the rest of us are eating/doing.
And that folks, is it! Now you know what we've been up to the past month or two (or at least some of it) and you can see that I LOVE these cute kids more than ever. It's a lot of work to have two and there are many days I'm completely exhausted, but it's all worth it - blood, sweat, tears and all!

Oh those kiddos are so cute! I wish Hannah could play duck and playdough and cooking with Ella. I was at Toys R Us this weekend, and there were some name place mats--the names Hannah and Ella were on top! Love you guys.
Your kids are so cute! Ella is getting so big! You are making me miss those days when all my kids were small. We don't play with play dough too much anymore!
We miss you guys!
Oh my goodness, I love the update. I wish so much that we lived closer to each other. Waaaa, thank goodness for a phone.
