30 Weeks along

Our little man is growing well... I had my 30 week appointment yesterday and my Dr. said he's weighing in at 3 lbs. and 8 oz. and is head down. All is normal and looking good. She has offered to induce me at 39 weeks if I want, so we're probably going to go with that. So exciting to think of meeting him soon!

I'm sure feeling big these days! This pregnancy is similar to Ella in that I've gained a lot of weight in the 2nd trimester and am now slowing down a bit. As long as he's healthy, I'm happy.

Garden! Or... what's left of it! A week ago, I was letting Ella swim in her pool on the deck. I went inside for a moment and came back to behold her standing at the sliding door, proudly holding up our one and only pea plant, roots and all, for me to see. She delightedly exclaimed, "Garden!!" Her excitement was so cute, I couldn't get mad. So I thanked her and we replanted the pea. It only lasted a few more days though and then died away. Maybe due to the experience, or all the heat we've been having here in Tulsa... usually the heat index reaches over 10o degrees! Well, at least our tomato and cucumber plant are still thriving!

How in the world am I so lucky to have her in my life?! Ella is growing up so fast! She is learning to dress herself and is definitely in the "me do it" stage of toddler-hood. Keeping up with her every day is a challenge, but I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world. I humbly think she's the cutest thing that ever happened! :-D
