Ella loves counting! Tonight while I was helping her settle down for bed she began counting "8, 9, 10" over and over in the dark while she passed the folds of blanket from one hand to the other. Next, she stuck her little foot in the air and said, "2, 5, 2, 5..." Sure was cute!

She also has been learning many of the alphabet letters over the past few months. Their names and sounds included. Often when we're out driving in the car it isn't uncommon for her to peer out the window from her car seat and suddenly exclaim something like, "Hannah!!" and all we have to do is look around a bit and we're sure to find a street sign that has a letter H at the beginning. (Esp. like those hospital signs.) Those STOP signs on the corners often draw a "S!!" from her as well. And the signs for the bicycle lane get a "bike!" from her.

On another note, Baby Boy is doing well in Mama's belly. Ella likes to pat him and say, "boy." Over the past few days he has been getting pretty wiggly and I'm feeling fairly confident that he is going to do just fine at keeping up with his busy little sis once he arrives. I'm pretty sure he was holding his own personal game of soccer this evening with all the kicking!
