This past Wednesday, Ella had her 2 month check-up and got 3 shots in her thighs (vaccines). Poor girl was obviously not happy when it happened and waled out her displeasure. However, right after the nurse was done, I scooped her up off the table and she quieted down right away! I was so proud of her! What a brave girl! I had been bracing myself for days previous, telling myself that she would probably be screaming for an hour after the episode. She fell asleep in the car on the way home.... thank goodness!
I've been reading to Ella from the Book of Mormon daily for several weeks now. I enjoy sharing my thoughts and feelings with her about the truths therein as we go along. Though she is young, I often feel her spirit is learning from the testimony I share with her. I believe it's never too early to help her begin to develop her own faith in Christ.
This week I was at a friend's house and Ella got hungry... so I went to feed her. She was awfully fussy and I felt flustered as I'm still getting used to getting out and about with her. Thankfully, after trying unsuccessfully for bit, my friend offered to let me go in a quiet, backroom and feed her. What do you suppose happened then?? Poor Ella went poop and it exploded all over her onesie, pants, socks, my jeans and my friend's chair! What a day! Haaha!
That's about all we've been up too.... now we're just eagerly awaiting Daddy's return from camping overnight with the 11 year old scouts! Sure miss him lots already!

Oh no! That story will be funnier later in life I'm sure!
Oh, she is getting so cute. I want to hold her so bad (sniff, sniff). So awesome that you read to her out of the BofM. You are an awesome Mommy!
