Scout Campout

This past weekend Brent planned an overnight camp out for our 11 yr. old scouts. (Way to go honey!) All 4 boys went, as well as two of the dads. Here are a few pictures of them loading up on Friday afternoon. They went to nearby Lake Talquin. Saturday morning the scouts did some canoeing and when done, Brent and one of the dads went out for a spin. When they got back to shore and started loading up the canoe, they looked out one last time at the lake. Brent noticed a long, log-looking object in the water where they'd been. Watching it for a minute, they noted it was moving slowly.... and they quickly realized it was a 8 to 10 foot gator!!! Phewph! I'm so glad they didn't get eaten for lunch!
