Last night, BJ and I experienced our very first Patrol meeting for our new calling as 11 yr. old scout leaders/Primary teachers! We had two young men attend, as well as Brother Rudder, their previous leader. Brother Rudder showed us what he's been doing in helping the young men pass off requirements. The 2 scouts we had there were Dean and Will. I had a good time and can tell this will be a different but fun calling! I've been in the RS for so many years that it's refreshing to have a turn at something new! We spent the meeting on knots and such. I really enjoyed learning to whip frayed rope ends! Only, when I was done, I had a tough time un-whipping it so someone else could practice! Haaha

Since we just received this new scouting calling, I had one last opportunity to attend RS this past Sunday, and I'm ever so glad I did! I was sitting near two very nice ladies who both started chatting before RS began about these AMAZING Sour Cream Biscuits. Becoming intrigued, especially as I'm new to Southern Cooking, I asked how to make them. Well... the result is too fabulous for words! They are YUM-YUMMY!

And so very easy to make!
1 cup self-rising flour (I substituted with Bisquick)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sour cream
Mix all til just moist and fill muffin tins 2/3rds full with batter. Cook on 350 for 10-15 min. or until done. ENJOY! (Or feel free to seach the net for your own recipie. This one worked for me.)
Warning: Don't make these when you are at home alone! You will eat them all yourself! ;-p

Sweet, I can't wait to try out the recipe. They sound so yummy! What a difference to be in the scouting program. Ella will learn how to be such a good scout :-)
Those biscuits sounds delicious! Keep sending those southern recipes our way! You guys will be great scout leaders. I got released from the Primary Presidency this week, so I finally get to go to Relief Society. It's been over 2 years!
